Sediment filtration
Sediment cartridges capture particles such as sand, grit and rust. The cartridge rating determines the particle sizes it is designed to capture; this stage does not remove every dissolved substance.
Carbon filtration
Suitable carbon cartridges can reduce chlorine taste and odour. What else they reduce depends on the particular cartridge and its tested performance, so we match the filter to the result you want.
Sized for your household
The system needs enough capacity for your normal water use. Filter type, cartridge condition and flow demand affect performance, so a larger household may need a different setup from a single kitchen tap.
Keep your filters working properly.
We install new systems, replace compatible cartridges and help with leaking housings, taps and connections. Cartridge life depends on the model, water quality and use; follow the manufacturer’s replacement schedule rather than waiting for a visible change in the water.

Should I choose whole-home or under-sink filtration?
Whole-home filtration treats the supply to the connected outlets around your home. Under-sink filtration serves one tap, usually for drinking and cooking. The choice depends on where you want filtered water, your available space, household demand and budget. We can discuss both options.
Which filter is right for my property?
It depends on your water supply, what you want the system to do and how much water you need. We can discuss the installation options, available space and ongoing cartridge requirements before you choose a system.
Can you install a filter I have already bought?
Send us the make, model, installation instructions and photos of the proposed location before booking. We’ll check whether it suits your existing plumbing and explain what is needed.
How often should filter cartridges be replaced?
The interval depends on the system, its cartridges and the water being filtered. Follow the manufacturer’s replacement schedule. Send us the make and model if you need help arranging a cartridge change.
Can you help with an existing filtration system?
Send photos of the system, its labels and the problem you have noticed. We can check the setup and availability of compatible parts before arranging the work.
Can you install rainwater filtration with UV?
Yes. We can install filtration and UV disinfection systems for tank-water supplies. The treatment needs to suit the water quality, intended use and flow rate. UV is only one part of a suitable treatment setup.
Is a water softener the same as a water filter?
No. A water softener reduces hardness minerals, such as calcium and magnesium. Standard sediment and carbon filters do different jobs and do not generally soften water. We can talk through whether your property needs filtration, softening or both.
